We had an account schedule/financial report made for TB.

Here is its column def.

pastedimage1676553699103v1.png

The date range for 2022 gives us correct values, however for 2023 date filter, we get our both BS and IS accounts values that do not match with our COA for the given filter we use in account schedule for Balance to Date value in COA.

So lets say I got in Account Sche. 01/01/2023.. 31/01/2023

and in COA I put Date filter as ..31/01/2023 the balance to date field of COA do not match with balance sheet values of account. sche.

RE: Account Schedule/Financial Report gives wrong values for new year

I don't have enough information to know if you have the same issue that I had, but I had a weird issue with Account Schedules that it was showing the incorrect amounts in my monthly like your format like your screenshot.  The issue was that the accounting period for the new year was not created.  So when 2022 ended and 2023 started it was displaying random amounts and as soon as I created 2023 it worked perfectly.  I hope yours is that simple to fix.
