We have 175 user licenses for Business Portal and not sure how many actually are being used. I want to monitor at specific time intervals how many users are connected to Business Portal. Is there a table entry or something of that nature in the company/system database that I can look at?
TIA

To my knowledge there is nothing within Dynamics SL or BP that will show the BP users being used. BP uses Named Users that you add to allow the users to access BP. If the network users is not added, then they do not have access. Dynamics SL on the other hand uses concurrent users - it allows many SL users names, but only allows a maximum number of users to login at the same time.
There might be some IIS or sharepoint add-on utilities that can monitor the number of Sharepoint users. But, I'm not certain that these exist. I believe the problem is that the browser does not have any connection to the server after the page is delivered. If your user access a BP page, then reads it for 5 minutes, the server does not know. The "Logon" only exist as long as the request is being processed. But, there might be some add ons that can track how many users logged in for the past 5 minutes, for example.
I wish I could give you something more definitive, but we just have these utilities out of the box.
