Order form

Hi,

I am working on a customised version of the Order form under a customised version of the Sales app.

We are testing Product Bundles with Products

On a new sandbox instance of Dynamics, I am seeing the Order Products relating to Products nicely sitting under the Order Products related to the Product Bundle, with an expand/collapse option, and the /Group by/ option for the grid is visible.

However, if I look at the dev instance (the customised version), I see both types of order lines are visible without an expand/collapse option or a /Group by/.

I have been struggling to find the cause. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Both the installed components on the Order and Product Order entities match when reviewing the two instances.

Thanks, David

    Hi Partner,
You need check 'control' of this product sub-grid.
Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Customization > Customize the system.
Expand Entities and Find Order, and open the main form:
--Double-click sub-grid of the products, navigate to 'Controls' tab.
--Default read-only grid control can't support 'expand' and 'group by' features.
--It should have 'Editable Grid' control'' enabled.
So you can check if the two versions apply different controls on the product sub-grid.
