Electronic reporting - How to change text in GER_LABEL

Hello,
I create Purchase Order journal in Business Document Management. And I try change labels value. For example: @"GER_LABEL:LineNumber". I want to change value this label, but I do not know how do it.

My second question is: Do you know where I find @GER_LABEL file.

Hi Miroslaw Biedrowski ,

You can use Dynamics 365 > Find labels… in Visual Studio to find D365FO labels.

Label Extension is not available in D365FO, then you could add new label file.

you need to use the "Translate" button in the formula editor, here you can define the GER labels in different languages:

your 2nd question is answered I guess.

Regarding the first one, this is a bit tricky, its not straigtforward and I had troubles figuring it out, also the documentation doesnt mention it, but correct me if I am wrong.

-Choose a data source first (1)

-Select\activate the field "Label (2)

-Then click on "Translate" (3)

-Add a new label name OR select a already created one and change the text (4)

You can also do step (3) and then (2). Works both ways.

The "Text translation" pane will appear.

For using standard label in D365FO you can just paste the label value like @SYS57614 on "Label" field. Automatically it will show the value of label. In this example, it will be Fee amount
For defining custom label, you need to use translate function and suggest to follow Design multilingual reports in Electronic reporting - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
