SQL Table for RMA Reason Code Lookup

Posted on by 75

Hi,

Anyone knows the table where the Reason Code Values are being stored?

We're trying to create a return from Sales Transaction Entry > Additional > Create Return

Then that button for Reason Code

Thanks.

Thanks Zafar. We didn't have a resolution and we just ended up abandoning the project. I checked with a consultant and they verified the table is empty. Seems like it's being saved on a temp table or something.

or maybe these tables are used by some other modules such as Field service or Return management which does not come out of the box with GP. Technically, Microsoft should not have the reason code box available to the user if the user does not have the corresponding module

    Hi Rinno,

Were you able to create the SmartList showing the Returns with Reason Code.

I could not find any column in the SOP tables for the reason code so as per my understanding there is no advantage of using the reason code in returns and having the data available in table SVC05502.

It seems the developers created a table SVC05000 for this purpose, however, could not complete their work as the table has no records.

Thanks Jefferey. Once I create a return, would you know if there's a table that links the reason code to SOPNUMBER?

basically what we want to achieve is create a smartlist or SSRS report that will show the reason code of the return.

    Thanks.

    Hi Rinno

The table you are looking for is the SVC05502

    SVC_RMA_Reason_Code
