AD (entra) sync does not update the emailaddress of the dynamics system user

Hi everyone,
 
we are facing the issue that when the emailaddress of a AD (entra) user is changed, this change isnt synced to dynamics 365 CE,
all other AD (entra) attributes update without issues.
The AD (entra) connector doesnt log any errors, it seems like it is just ignoring the emailaddress for updates.
 
Is anyone else facing this issue too or has maybe already found a solution for it?
