Error creating a check Batch Print using MEKORMA 2016 on GP 2016

Hello community,

I am running GP 2016 (16.00.0579) on SQL Server 2016 (13.0.4001.0) on Windows Server 2016 Standard (10.0.14393).

I have installed MEKORMA MICR 2016 (b005) to generate checks. Website of Mekorma says this version is compatible.

I followed all installation instructions for Mekorma and the software performed all upgrades without any issues.

Now I am getting this error message when the users are trying to create a check batch. See the screenshots below

MekormaErrorPic1.jpgMekormaErrorPic2.jpg

This error seems to want to use table dbo.ME27623 but when I looked into the table list of the company I am using, I found dbo.ME27623CONVERT. So I figured, there may be an error during the conversion process. But hat seem not to be the problem. When I displayed the fields on that table and there is no VCHRBR field in it but a field VCHNUMWK which is a char(17).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    Hi,

What you are experiencing is connected to a Mekorma feature called Assign by Checkbook which is automatically installed in our new builds. If you do not want to use the feature, removing it from the dynamics.set file will resolve your issue. Here is the product information to remove:

    3183
    Assign by Checkbook

and the three dictionaries you need to remove start with VPS (example, VPS.dic).

Please contact us at support@mekorma.com if you have any additional questions.

    Sincerely,

    Krista

I would start by running the GRANT.SQL script against your company database. You will need to use SSMS and you will find this script here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2016\SQL\Util

or wherever you GP code is located.
