Credit Card Processing in MS Dynamics 2009

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with the credit card functionality in AX 2009 in reference to a multiple shipment order while remaining PCI compliant.

Is it possible to keep the preauthorization open until the shipment is complete? (We use authorize.net as the cc processor)

Are there any suggestions for third party solutions that would allow us to be compliant yet ship a customer's order in multiple shipments?

    Your auth expires after certain day. You will have to reauth again before you capture.

    Amy,

    You are talking about Authorize only transaction. This type of transaction creates an authorization with the card issuing bank that holds the funds until you wish to manually capture them. When you capture this Authorize Only transaction, it will settle after your Transaction Cut-Off Time.

    Kindly note that  an authorization is valid for 30 days only, until the transaction is captured or voided. If the authorization exceeds 30 days with no merchant action, its status will change to Expired, in which case, the transaction is no longer available for settlement.
