Relationship between job ledger entry and warehouse entry

Does anyone know why if I post a Item journal it makes a warehouse entry, but whe I'm doing a job journal, which makes am item ledger entry, doesn't do a warehouse entry?

I have a big problem because when I do a item journal, I can reduce the bin content, but when I do the job journal, it doesn't reduce the bin content, so the information of the bin content gets inconsistent.

Can anybody give me a hand?
Thanks
Rod.

    Hello Rod,

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forum. We are making a concerted effort to go back and update unanswered posts. I apologize for the delay in your request being reviewed and processed.

The Warehouse Entry integration was not originally part of the scope of Jobs in Version 5.00 (and initial release of NAV 2009 (V 6.00), so it was postponed. With the release of Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1, the Warehouse integration was completed.

A correction was originally published for MBS Navision Version 5.00 Sp1 in Knowledge Base Article 980563. The change was first released as part of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1 (6.00 SP1)  version.

An additional change was published in Knowledge Base Article 2487667 to correctly manage Item Tracking issues where multiple Item Tracking lines were selected for different Lot Numbers but only the last Lot was posted to the Warehouse Entries.

Hopefully, the documentation will help going forward for those companies facing this issue.

    Best Regards
