SSRS report subscription with Model for data source

Hi,

We used to have an email subscription to Historical Aged Receivables SSRS report on the older version of GP (2015) and SQL (2014).

The subscription stopped working after we upgraded to GP 2018 and SQL 2019. The SSRS report pops a message about credentials that need to be stored. The issue is that one of the data sources of the Historical Aged Receivables report  is a Model and would not allow storing credentials.

Is there a way around that?

Thank you,

Oleg.

    Good Afternoon Oleg,

Just completed this update last week. Updating the data source worked with out issue, but I was getting the same issue about not allowing storing credentials.

Not sure what the client's IT provider changed on the server but this was the response I got from them about my issue.

    -- response

Apologies I neglected to turn off threat lockers,

I have put it in learning mode for one week to ensure no more issues

Whatever they changed, it removed the message allowed me complete my SSRS changes, the server's zero trust policies on the SQL server was causing some interesting issues.

Hope this points you in the right direction.

Thank you for the answer, Sonny,

However, my issue is not just about storing credentials. It is about creating an email subscription to the report that uses GP Model as data source. It is that Model that has no place to enter credentials, preventing from creation of subscription.

    Cheers,

    Oleg.

If you haven't, I'd ask this in the SQL Server forums, specifically SQL Reporting Services as subscriptions are handled more by that support team than Dynamics GP. They would be the experts in that area.

    Thanks

    Thank you, Derek,

    Will try that.

    Best,

    Oleg.
