Error - The sales order cannot be deleted because related not posted transactions exist.

Hi All,

I'm getting an error while deleting a sales order saying "The sales order cannot be deleted because related not posted transactions exist".

The sales order does not have any order line (and no picking route etc). It's a blank order.

Tried cancelling the order as well, but no luck. Neither system throws any error or cancels the order.

I also came across this post as suggestion while raising this issue, but I could not find the order in Invoice history (Sales ledger > Inquiries and reports > Invoices > Invoice history)

Has anyone come across this issue? How to I delete this order?

Hello,

Please go To Sales and Marketing >> Inquiries and reports >> Order posting >> Sales order confirmation

Filter by the sales order you want to delete

Check if there is a record for which job status is waiting or executing

If you found the record, Select the row and press Alt+F9

System will prompt you to delete the record. >> hit yes

Try to delete the Sales order.

Please try the steps in Test environment
