Hi,
We are trying to record the sale of a group of fixed assets, for which we are receiving a lump-sum payment. I understand to record the sales in the Retirement Maintenance window. Is there a way to record the sale for a group of assets and record the proceeds for the group of assets?
Or, does this have to be done on a one by one basis?

Hi Heather,
Not sure when it became available in GP but you could also leverage the Mass Retirement window to accomplish this task. I believe the function was available in GP2013.

One by one is your only option I am afraid. I would pro-rata the funds across the individual assets - but it is a manual calculation and then manual retirement per asset.
