Creation Date of Payment Voucher

Hello

In using GP 2015. Is there any way to know when a particular payment voucher was actually created. I know there is document date, posting date etc, but these dates are user dependent. Say, if a user creates a payment voucher on 20-02-18 puts document date as 16-02-18. Is there any report that could show me that this payment voucher was created on 20-02-18?

In order to track this information, you will need to enable Activity Tracking in Dynamics GP, Administration > Setup > System > Activity Tracking. In this window, you would select File Tracking as the Activity Type, then enable Additions to Trx Files. You will then select the user or users you want to track and the companies you would like to apply the tracking to. Since the PM Payment Work is a transaction file, this should fall within the tracking log.

To inquiry this information, you can then go to Administration > Inquiry > System > Activity Tracking. There's a print button on that window to also print a report, or you can go to Administration > System > General and choose Activity Tracking Detail from the Reports DDL to create a new activity report tailored to your needs.

You mean there isn't any report in smartlist that could show creation date? For example in smartlist i can select colum "Creation Date" when generating report of Purchase Orders. This creation date shows when the PO was actually created.

You can create a smart list based on the activity tracking events -- create a SQL view then expose it to either SmartList Designer or SmartList Builder depending on what tool you have. GP is not very consistent in keeping creation dates and user who crated at the record level, hence activity tracking.
