MTD - Vat submission errors using VAT Return

Hi,

We are experiencing quite lot of issues within Dynamics GP 2016 and GP 2018 with April hot fix.

Problem 1: No obligation found for the year 2019, we have checked with HMRC and the VAT calendar is correctly setup.

Problem 2: No confirmation to GP that VAT submission has been successful.

Try with firewall opening port 8080 and allowing access hmrc.gov.uk but still problem persist.

Anyone encountered similar issues if so please advice how you have come this issues.

    Hi Tracy,

    We have not had any issues for 18.4, but I know there was an issue at HMRC today which is now fixed. You can reset the submission number and try again. Another issue we found was that if the HMRC grant consent had expired would cause a problem. To resolve the issue this log on to another PC and submit from there.  I hope this helps.

    Hi,

    We are also having issues similar to yours on 18.4 where no confirmation that submission was successful - i think this could also be linked to why the submission number is not incrementing

    did you manage to find any resolutions?
