Hi,
Recently I connected the database of D365 FO test environment and I was suprised to see the database names eg.
spartan-srv-nam-d365ops-987898sd789878.database.windows.net\db_d365opsprod_testclient_axdb_353453453_3453
I am curious to know whether the database name will be same across different TIER environments or it is different ? Also will it remain under the same server eg. lets say the server name is testgoogle so the AxDB,AxDw.
So how will I know what is the name of all the test databases in test and prod environments .
I know I can get the name of the AxDB database from sytem admin- database information . however I am more interested in knowing the name of the "FinancialReportingDb" also known as MR database.
Because I have some query which is joining the axdb and MR database and fetching the results in a custom table.
Thanks,
VK
Hi Vicky,
The database server names are different and not visible for the production environment as it is a service which needs to be as secure as possible. Also the login details are not the same for the UAT as for the production.
