Time Registration

We are implementing TIme Registration and have some sticky issues with setting up schedules and how it shows in the approval screen for the employees manager.

1 - Does anyone know Time Registration WELL, it seems hard to find that skill in depth.

2 - We want to charge everything to a project and activity

3 - Specifically I would like to know where the time goes in the GL when a user clocks and then takes 5 minutes to select a project/activity. It seems to show an absence job but I cannot find where it posts to?

4 - can we stop the absence minutes and hours if the user clocks in late as compared to the schedule?

Yes, You can set the profile (schedule) to allow late clock-in.

in the profile type clock in set the minutes in tolerance before start and tolerance after start fields.
