Mobile Device show negative Qty while doing Movement journal

Hi All,

When I do Movement by using Mobile device, system show Negative Qty.

I go to Physical On-hand Inventory to check, there is still positive Qty:

I view detail the License Plate -> Show all related transactions and sum the qty, total on-hand is same as on Physical On-hand Inventory:

Can every one here let me know why does mobile device show Negative Qty like that? How to resolve the Negative Qty as Mobile device show? How can I use the Positive Qty that existing in Physical On-hand Inventory?

Hi nglehang,

What is the scenario you want to complete? Do you want to post an increase or decrease of the on-hand for this item? Negative means that it will be deducted. Positive will result in an increase. I don't see a relation between the on-hand quantity and a quantity in a movement.

Hi Andre',

I do as following steps:

1. Login to RF Emulator -> click "Movement"

2. Enter License Plate number 000LP-0000812197, enter Item number

3. Click "OK"

Then system show Qty -569 instead of 1707 Qty as in the On-hand.

Why system doesn't show Qty 1707?

It appears that there is a mismatch on the Transactions. (or probably incomplete Transactions)

Did you look in Detail about the other WorkId references? What do they tell?

Dear Crispin,

I checked already, there is no pending work that related to that License Plate or this item also.

List of open works not related to the item that I am checking.

Are you using the warehouse management features available in AX2012 R3 or do you have another add-on? Anyway, It wouldn't be logical to have a quantity suggested which meets the on-hand for a movement. For a counting, I would expect the on-hand information.

I am using Standard Warehouse Management.

I did Inventory Counting then got the result same as Physical On-hand Inventory as below:

When I click Item Inquiry from menu on Mobile device, I found the "Reserved Qty" as below:

But when I open Item Transactiona to check, there is not any pending transaction:

Is this the problem? How can I remove Reserved Qty from Item Inquiry menu?

Can you go to the License Plate form, and go to On-Hand for this license plate (not Transactions)

I'm curious to see, what's in there.
