Error Importing Users through Data Management or Excel

Hey, 

I am trying to import system users using data management after the sandbox environment was refreshed. When I create the data management import job using the excel file and all required fields I am getting an error. I get the same error when I use 'open in excel' and try to publish a new user.

The error says "Cannot create a record in User Information (SysUserInfo). User ID: *******, ******@****.com. The record already exists.

I tried resetting all the usage data in the environment for all users. 

It does work if I recreate a user by going to the Users screen, clicking New, adding their information, and saving. That will add the user and then when I run the data management package it updates that line fine. 

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Does the issue resolved?
    If no, did you received the error message for DMF on staging table? 
    Do you want to create a new user that is already exist in the environment? Ref. to the error message it seems that you want to create a duplicate record.

    I know that SysUserInfo did not have any existing records in it. I checked that with data management and SQL server. I did not however check UserInfo.

    I can't check now because I have manually added all 150 users... it was fun. :)

    Hi J D,

    I tried to reproduce your error on the same version, but didn't got this error. Can you check if both the tables UserInfo and SysUserInfo don't have existing records for these user(s)? What exact fields did you have in the source file?
