How to test a embedded Marketing form on a localhost system?

Hi there,

we have already authenticated domains for other CMS integration.

Now the developer wants to test our Marketing forms on his local CMS system.

Error: This page has a marketing form embedded on it, but the domain where this page is published isn't whitelisted for use with that form.

How to whitelist "localhost" systems?

Regards,

Martin

    Hi Martin,

Try to copy the code of related marketing form page record and paste it to a local HTML file.

In VS code, I use Preview on Web Server extension to run a local server to host the page and form:

    I can submit information successfully.

I don't know why it could work even if localhost is not in whitelist.

Anyway, you could ask the developer to try with above steps, and once it get success.

try using marketing form API for more test.

    Hi Martin,

    Thank you for your question.

Please try to enter the value as "localhost" as the domain, it should work. Please file a support ticket if it doesn't, as this isn't an expected behavior.

    Thanks!

    Hi Define,

what do you mean by "Please try to enter the value as "localhost" as the domain" - where?

    Regards,

    Martin

I mean the domain you are whitelisting would be "localhost" as below. Let me know if this works.

I have the same issue. It's not possible to confirm ownership of "localhost"... Is there another way?

Any update on this ? localhost still not working when added in form hosting allowed domains.
