Hi All

Challenge to GP gurus out there.

One of our Dynamics GP users is getting the below error under Timesheet Invoicing.

Unhandled object exception:
The COM server was terminated unexpectedly

EXCEPTION_CLASS_OBJECT_EXCEPTION
---------------------

This will crash the application and if it happens in the middle of a large batch then it can be a pain.

OS: Windows XP SP3
Dynamics GP v10.00.1061
Outlook 2003
Dell Precision T3400 - Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM

I appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thanks mate. The problem is intermittent which make it hard to isolate. I will have a go next time this happens.

Hi,

1) Please check with "sa" user Id on same machine you can post transactions or not?

2) Check on other machine with different user and same user

if you can post it in different machine with same user that means your GP dictionary files corrupted.

Reinstall GP and see it work or not.
