after cloneing case record not copying some fields

supplier(field) on  new quote case, the supplier did not pull over to  quote follow up case that is created on the new quote case.

when we give case type:quote and activity type new quote

we added quote follow up button when we click on it a new case is created and all the fields are copied into the new case. but the issue s supplier field data is not copying

what would be the issue and how to overcome this issue

    that is custom ribbon button, so you should ask to who implemented that functionality inside your CRM instance.
