Sequenced approval workflow question

I'm having some real trouble getting a workflow to run properly so any help is much appreciated.

When a user requests approval for a purchase document it goes to a workflow user group with the following:

Sequence 1: 1 user

Sequence 2: 2 users (Only 1 approver needed)

The first sequence 1 approver runs fine, and both users in sequence 2 receive an approval. However if 1 or 2 more users approve in Sequence 2, the document never gets released and stays in pending approval.

I've also tried using Sequence 1 and Sequence 2 as a workflow condition but sitll running into the same issue.

Any ideas? Pretty stumped.

    Please follow below link and refer scenario 3 where any one will approve and order should release.

    Hi Alok,

    Thanks for the suggestion - I've tried this however what happens is that once the Sequence 1 user approves the document, the entire thing is approved instead of going to Sequence 2.

    The problem is always at Sequence 2, I'm unable to get it to release when one or even both Sequence 2 users approve this.
