Purchase Order Lines Import using Data Management Tool

Hi,

I am importing Purchase Order Lines using the Data Management tool.

The import was able to run successfully without any errors as you can see on the screenshot below.

When I check the PO to see if the lines were updated, only one line was updated on my PO and I am not sure what could be causing this. I am using procurement categories.

I have the same question (0)

First of all, your screenshot shows that two purchase lines were created. No lines were updated.

Second, could you share what data you imported? Perhaps you imported two purchase lines on different purchase orders?

    Hi Nikolaos,

Please see a screenshot of the data imported. I have hidden all the fields with blank Data.

    Hi Randz,

Can you go to the execution history and review the staging records? What values are in the staging table and what is the status per staging record?

i had similar thread on forum and we found the answer lies something in Pu33 update,

just build all, ensure MS packages and the error would go away

if not then delete all staging data and do it again

    Hello Randz KEV,

Make sure that you have filled the LineNumber column in your "Purchase order line V2" data entity template.

System will fetch all lines then and upload in the PO. Below is the screen shot taken from this template.

    Hi Community,

    Thanks for your continuous assistance.

After a lot of struggling, I managed to successfully import the PO lines.

Resolution: I installed the hotfix from the quality update and do a full build and ensure correct column type and values for PO and line number and it worked.
