Is your sql server Named Instance or default instance? If it's a named instance then you to install SRS connector through cmd with Install_config.xml where you will need to specify your instance name.

If you have named instance then you need to add and update following tag in the install config

    <configdbserver>SQLServerName\Instancename</configdbserver>

The sql instance was left default instance when installing sql, and the installation of the srs connector will be done on the virtual machine, not the sql server.

    waiting for your response chitra.

    Thank you.

You need to run the Reporting Extension installation on the SQL server - not the CRM server.

1.Do you have Sql server and reporting services installed on different servers?

    2. You have to install SRS connector on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services server.

    Hi Ridwan,

You should install the SSRS Connector in the server that having the SQL Server Reporting Services installed, not in the application server.

    rajeevpentyala.wordpress.com/.../ssrs-extension-installation-does-not-display-ssrs-instances-crm-2011

    missdynamicscrm.blogspot.com/.../crm-20112013-cannot-find-ssrs-instance.html

And make sure that you are using SQL Server 64bit

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

    Hello Ridwan,

Reporting extension can only be installed where the SSRS instance is installed.

    Thanks,
