Released Features list

Hello Experts,

Can I kindly ask you the below?

I have a very generic question.

When a platform update is released, we can only see few features in the link but when we see the update in our D365 feature management, there are lot of features added.

Is there any link or path Microsoft releases where those features are documented for public review in one place? like they do in BUG fixes and can be checked in one LCS link.

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Ramit,

Based on my observations feature management is used not only for new features, but also for bug fixes and performance improvements. So I would say you need to check: what's new article + KB list for a release.

I think the best way is always to check the list of features after MS update and review links provided for feature or check from code usage of a feature.

    Thanks,

So, can you give me a list of features in 10.0.12 or 10.0.13 in one list shared by MS, I only can find ALL these in feature management, not in other links

    Hi Ramit,

That's what I meant. You can get a list from feature management, but details can be found from various sources: help URL for feature, what's new, release notes + list of KB.

    Thanks Sergei, thats my question

In what's new, release notes + list of KB- I can not find all features, so anywhere I can get?

New features or previews are normally announced in the "what's new" article for each release. Have a look atdocs.microsoft.com/.../whats-new-changed and see the sub articles underneath this, and find the build you are using.

Unfortunately, in my experience not all features are documented or announced in the release plans. The most features are documented, but some not. I think Microsoft can do a slightly better job here.

From the what's new section there is a link to the release notes, but a link to comprehensive documentation how to use the new features is missing.

I completely echo with this Andre,
