When I click on the Properties >> Options >> Compatibility Level for any of my SQL databases, the drop down window is blank.

Any ideas?

    Sorry we fixed this problem.

The person running SQL Management Studio had select SQL Server 2008 R2 rather than the SQL Server 2012 which is what is running on the Server.

So the answer to the problem is (1) select the correct version of the tool that matches what the Server running (2) double check the problem (or not problem) before posting to the community.

    All is well.
