Restore BC environment connected to Dataverse CRM

Hi All

Has anyone restored a BC environment to a previous time when the BC environment is synced to Dynamics Sales? And has the records coupled to dataverse preserved as at the time of older copy? For example customer A coupled at 2PM and Customer B coupled at 3PM and if restored to 2PM BC copy then Customer A still coupled , Customer B uncoupled? What are additional considerations
