Creating and using products for Orders and Invoices CRM Dynamics 365

I tried creating orders for customers where it asked me to fill in certain products. I have already created few products and product families. But I am not able to add them in orders ( to later show order history for a customer). Basically I am confused with the relationships between products and order entities. Any suggestions are most welcomed.

Adding price list items is explained in the following article:

Did you setup at least one price list item for each of the products?

Yes I have published these products. But when I try to add existing products for a order, it looks up using a search criteria "Price List item" and it doesn't fetches any products there.

Did you publish the products and product families?
