Hi all,

I am having an issue on AX 2009. When I try to email an invoice or another document from AX to a new recipient, I have an error message as you can see on the image below. Do you have any idea concerning this issue? what could be the problem?

    Hi

the error message indicates "Transport failed to connect to server". do you already have working email notification setup in any other modules/functions.

There could be several possibilities including:

    1. Incorrect SMTP sever configuration

    2. Firewall blocking

    3. Check if From address is configured to receive emails from AX32Serv.exe and AX32.exe

    4. Mail relays might not be configured to send emails to recipients outside organization.

    Hi

Pretty sure that your SMTP server is wrong.

Check it with your infrastructure guys.

First check whether you properly setup email parameters under Administration.if it is properly set then check your mail server use SSL/TLS (Secure Socket Layer/ Transport Layer Security ) security methods .Most of the mail servers using TLS so , as we experienced by default AX2009 doesn't support  SSL/TLS .we archive this though the Customization.

    Hope this will help you!.

    Thanks & Regards,
