i have one requirement in my GP project.
I have created two users (user 1 and user 2) in my GP window and assigned sales user role to them.
now i don't want user 1 to access sales orders of user 2 and user 2 should not access sales orders of user 1.
can anybody help ?

As I said, you can create two different smart lists filtering by the created user. Again, that doesn't mean that if you grant them access to SOP they will have access only to their own orders.

can we associate a smart list to a particular users.
user 1 has access to those Orders only posted by him.
Each user can definitely filter by the transactions that they have entered. But that doesn't mean that you are preventing them from seeing all the Sales Orders.
As long as a user has an access on Sales Order Transactions and reports, they will have access to all the associated data.
