I need to be able to filter a customer field to specific accounts, however when the user opens up the "Lookup Up More Records" dialogue window they need to be able to select any records. I have added a custom filter on the presearch, but that still applies when you open the dialogue and I can't find a trigger or event to remove the presearch when they open the dialogue. Any ideas?

The only solution I have come up with for this is to create a Account lookup field. With a standard lookup view the field can have a filtered vie, but as desired when they open the look up more records they can change that filtered view to see any records. Using some JavaScript onLoad and onChange I can keep the values synched. It is not an elegant solution but seems to work. Anyone have a better idea?
