Hi,
Is it possible to remove the link between Assemble-to-Order and Sales Order?
Our client keeps Assembly Order Lines information but they don't want to post Assembly Order created from Sales Order.
Can AL code remove the linkage?

If you don't get further responses to this issue, you may want to raise a support request to Microsoft support via your CSP / Partner.
Hi, I suggest you delete these two orders and create new ones. Unknown issues may occur while deleting from AL Code.
Or, You can try to clear the associated fields below.

Copying the assembly order and deleting the original one, that is one of the solution, I think...
I thought if the assemble-to-order link was deleted, I could keep an original Sales Order and an Assembly Order...
Set the Items to an Assembly Policy of Assemble-to-Stock, and give it a Reordering Policy of Order. This will create a stand alone Assembly Order per Item, but maintain a reservation between the Assembly Order and the Sales Order. This way you can post the Assembly Order independently of the Sales Order. The reservation would then pass to the Item Ledger until you ship the Sales Order at a later time.
Don't try to break Assemble-to-Order, simply use the standard Assemble-to-Stock with an Order policy to mimic the link.
