HI some of my users receive an error "Access is denied" when trying to take ownership of an opportunity. The User has the "Assign" role checked for them. Any idea how this can be resolved please?
Couple of suggestions - apologies if you've already tried these:
If the user is part of a Team - sometimes the Permissions assigned to the Team override the individual's permissions
In addition to "Assign" - does the user also have "Write" - by assigning themselves as owner, the are modifying the records so they'll need READ, WRITE in addition to ASSIGN.
If you are using Business Units - double check the user is in the correct business unit and there aren't restrictions based on the business unit hierarchy
Review any field-level security that is set
