invalid chars sending mail

hi there guys.

when sending an email with special characters, they become unreadable, the CRM converts them to character '?' (question mark). (this happens AFTER the email is sent)

the characters in question are, for example, these ones: " ã ; à ; é ; ç", etc, which are used in Portuguese Language.

NOTE: apparently, when i include some of those special characters in the "Subject" field, the (body of) email is sent with the correct formatting, but only if the subject has those special chars.

Any ideas what this might be?

-I'm using CRM 2013, on-premises, SP1 w/ UR1 (in Portuguese also).

Thanks in advance,

    RE: invalid chars sending mail

    EDIT:

i've figured it out, turns out if you include a special char in the subject of the email, the body of the email automatically assumes the correct Content-Type and the email is sent without problems.

The workaround i made is redifine the CRM Token when sending email, from "CRM:" to "CRMª:" (for example)

Hope this helps anybody out there.

    Regards,
