Auto create Assembly order

Hello Team,

Item is setup "Assembly Policy" as "Assemble-to-order".When i enter an item on Sales order and enter qty, system creates Assembly Order(automatically).

But when i insert data on Sales Line through code.System does not creates Assembly Order(automatically). I am using the same item.

Please suggest.

Did you fill in and validate "Qty. to Assemble to Order" ?

You may need to debug and see what is happening. when you validate that field, it should call a function called AutoAsmToOrder and create the Assembly Order for you. there may be something that prevent it from calling it.

or maybe you can call the function manually.

Used AutoAsmToOrder, hard luck. Have debugged the same and have found that it is actually hitting the given function. But system is not creating Assembly order.
