 Hi All

I have a user that keeps getting an error when she logs in.

Error message for Great Plains software:
Line: 220
Char: 6
Error: object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0

When she clicks the OK button. she can work in GP without any problems.

 Any ideas?

Thanks

Craig

Hi, not sure... I have seen similar errors when custom VB scripts are used with GP.

You say the user gets this when they log in? It could be an issue with their homepage. There is a KB article on the homepage which is useful - search for 'FAQ about homepages' and you should find it.

If another user logs in at the same workstation, do they get the same error?

If the error user logs in at another workstation do they still get the error?

Is the user using terminal services to access GP or is the application installed locally?

What version of GP are you running?

Is there any follow on messages to the one above?

    Best regards,

    Hi Craig

These type of errors probably occurred cause of VBA customization, first you need to identify which customizatin is currently deployed, to identify customization of VBA go to Microsoft Dyamics GP-->Tools-->Customize-->Customization Maintenance.

The reason of this error is, some of Objects (DLL) used  in VBA Customization and need to be added to VBA Reference, to add to VBA reference Microsoft Dyamics GP-->Tools-->Customize-->Visual Basic Editor and add the used DLL file in this customization to Reference.

If you want to remove VBA Customization go to Path Dynamics GP\GP\Data and remove FORM.DIC or REPORT.dic file.

    Thanks

    Rashid

Rather than remove the forms and reports dictionaries, just rename them.

    Best regards,
