Legacy Web Client Deprecated

Hi,

There is a notice on my portal that the legacy web client will be deprecated on the 1st December. However, I cannot find all features in the new interface so I am wondering if all features will be implemented in the unified interface before the 1st December, or if we will lose certain features altogether.

One example, and there are others, is the view settings from the legacy interface where you can associate a script to a field so that you can format the field with a JS function. When I go into the unified interface the only settings available are to change the width of the field. Here is a link to the feature I am describing: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/display-custom-icons-instead

So the question is; will these types of feaures be inaccessible or will MS deliver enhancements to the existing unified interface so we can access all these features?

Thanks in advance.

Shane

    Hello Shane,

The legacy web client deprecation applies to the end-user experience.
So your users will have to use Unified Interface apps (model-driven apps).

On December 1st, advanced settings (for example for the use case you described) or hybrid experiences (such as Advanced Find) will still remain available.
These will continue to be moved to modern experiences over time, either in the Power Platform Admin Center, in model-driven apps capabilities or in the Maker Portal (make.powerapps.com).
