Has BYOD officially been deprecated too now Export to Data Lake has been?

Hello D365 F&O Experts!

We were planning on moving from BYOD to Export to Data Lake, however Export to Data Lake has now been officially deprecated:
Export to Data Lake is now being replaced by Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse.

Whereas, there is nothing I can see about an official deprecation of BYOD at this point?
The BYOD config article does not state anything similar to Export to DL:

Is BYOD going to remain after Export to Data Lake is officially deprecated?

Thanks

    Hi Natalie,

BYOD is not in the list and is not deprecated. However, it is also not a replacement for Export to Data Lake.

    Hi,
According to the links you provided, it is mentioned that the export to data lake function has indeed been deprecated since last month and replaced by Synapse Link for Dataverse. But there is no official statement that BYOD is also deprecated. At the same time, the document also explains that BYOD and Data Lake are two methods, and they have their own applicable scenarios. The document only says that in comparison, it is more convenient to apply Data Lake in the following scenarios. rather than representing one party replacing the other. The significant difference between BYOD and exporting to Data Lake is how entities and tables are handled. For the difference between the two, you can check the link below:

    Best Regards,
