Displaying "User Who Entered" in SmartList

Hello:

By using the Posting Definitions Master table in SmartList Builder, I'm able to pull the "User ID" field which in effect is the "User Who Entered" the batch.

But, this table can only be joined with the Transaction Work table (i.e. unposted journal entries).

Is there any sort of comparable batch table for posted journal entries?  It would be nice if SmartList, through SmartList Builder,  could display the user who first entered the posted journal entry.

Yes, I know that there is the "Last User Edited" field and the "Approval User ID" field.  But, for posted journal entries in the Year to Date Transaction Open table, these fields aren't always filled in.

You would think that the "Last User Edited" by default would be the user who first entered the journal entry, if the journal entry has not already been edited.  But, that's not the case.

Thanks!  Much appreciated!

John

Hi, one thing worth checking is that the all the activated workflows do not have any errors. In our case it was being caused by one workflow which had an error and was active.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi John,

Your answer relies in the question.. Most user batches are gone after they are posted. The GL20000 table that holds the YTD transactions is multi-purpose and some fields are used with different content, or not filled at all.

The field USWHPSTD only shows you who posted the 'batch'. There is no batch history table AFAIK for GL Transactions..
