Scheduled Kanban lead time

Hi guys. I have a question regarding scheduled kanban. My item has a production lead time of 2 days in item coverage form. After running MRP, kanban jobs were automatically planned after firming the planned kanban. However, it seems that the production lead time is always disregarded. The kanban job always uses the requested delivery date set in the referenced SO as its scheduled and planned period. Is this a normal process in AX? Thanks.
