    Hi Pawel,

As far as i know, it's the basic functionality of CRM you can't make like that.

If you wanna open record in new window, just right click the record and there you will get "Open new window" option.

    Hi Pawel,

If you want to implement the Modal window like that, according to me, you should change your solution because it will make problem for upgrade your system to new version of Microsoft Dynamic CRM in future and it is not seem unsupported customization. I suggest you this solution, please check if you can use it.

    Method 1:

    1. You can create new customize command, pass parameter as selected from grid control.

    2. Implement the HTML web resource and show it as modal window.  You can use  Xrm.Utility to show your webresoure as modal window, please refer msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj602956.aspx .

Method 2 (If you want to implement double click and show detail as Modal window):

    1. You should create new HTML web resource (Name it as WebR1 ) and inherit css of CRM grid control to show all record in your web resource, you can execute saved query of view to retrieve data and bind to your HTML web resource.

    2.  Create 1 more HTML Web resource (detail information, name as WebR2)

    3. You just write dobclick event on WebR1 and show detail information to WebR2.

    Regards,

Please marked as answer if it is helpful for you.
