Hi,
I'm new to AX and Enterprise portal, a SharePoint developer by trade.
I've been asked to provide a client with a rebranded Enterprise Portal, they would like it to look like SharePoint 2013. They currently have Enterprise portal running on a 2013 farm but with 2010 look and feel.
Firstly, I've found resources around deploying AX 2012 R2 to SharePoint 2013, so I thought this was the obvious solution, however, I have yet to see a screenshot or video around this that shows the 2013 look and feel. If I suggest deploying enterprise portal again to the 2013 farm, is it going just look like a 2010 site. I ask because using the visual upgrade fails because a number of site templates are not supported in the 2013 style.
If then, there is no ootb solution to making Enterprise Portal for AX 2012 R2 look like it's a SharePoint 2013 site, how would the good folk here advise doing this. Will repointing the AX pages to look at the new 2013 master pages and style sheets work or is there a lot more engineering to do to achieve this.
Thanks

I have the same question (0)Hi,
I wouldn't go too deep in changing the layout. Note that you can do something with stylesheets, but re-imaging all web forms is really insane. Why does it have to look like SharePoint 2013?
If you look at the current version of AX (aka AX7) it has been re-imaged to look a bit like Office 365. Also it isn't using the SharePoint technology anymore in the latest version. So all effort you would invest now will be not upgradeable.
