Question around global search

Posted on by 2,645

I am searching on the name "Joe" in the global search and what comes back are contact records that are Joe and Joseph and Joel, Joelle, etc...  when I just want "Joe"

How can I get that to work or can't I?

    Hi,

    You can define Advanced filters:

Specify the field you want to search, then use equals, click apply:

    RE: Question around global search

    Hi

As per CRM the search will begin with Name

So if you are searching with *JOE it will search with somename+JOE

If you search with JOE* it will search with JOE+SomeName

If you search with *JOE* it will return

    SomeName+JOE+SomeName

If you search with JOE the system will search the name begins with JOE
