For my “Upgrade Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (Preview)” project on LCS, what is the relationship between the CodeUpgrade_ExcelReport(ExcelAnalysisReport) produced from the LCS Upgrade Analysis tile and the Upgrade analyzer report from the LCS System Diagnostic tile. Are both required prior to the running Code Upgrade tool? Also, is there detailed documentation on either of the reports?
You can find more details from below.

Upgrade analyzer reports tells what you need to consider /complete the task before code or data upgrade , such as data cleanup to reduce database size etc. Code Upgrade Estimation /Code Upgrade Excel sheets tell you what are the manual task you have to complete , such as code refactoring / items you need to re implement etc.
Hi Kevin, Thank you for responding with that most helpful document link. Would you also be able to comment on the second report (Upgrade analyzer report from the LCS System Diagnostic tile) in my posted question and whether it is useful to my upgrade project?
Hi Amith, Thank you very much for you helpful response. I would like to pose the same question I asked of Kevin Liu. What role, if any, the Upgrade analyzer report from the LCS System Diagnostic tile might play in my upgrade. I found reference to such in the 01/31/2018 document Upgrade from AX 2012 - Plan by using the Upgrade analyzer tool
