Hi all,

We are facing an error when doing a merge to some of our Leads. The issue has been around for couple of weeks. I do not know exactly when this has started.

So when we do a merge to leads, it stops to an error

Duplicate Record

A record that has the attribute values {1} already exists. The entity key {0} requires that this set of attributes contains unique values. Select unique values and try again.

When I use browsers developer tools I get more detailed error but i can not fix the issue.

[storage] Error Messages:
1: A record that has the attribute values Lead, Lead scoring model already exists. The entity key LeadModelKey requires that this set of attributes contains unique values. Select unique values and try again.

The issue seems to be with Leads that have been scored because not all Lead merge give this error.

Any idea how we can make the Lead merge to work again?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

    Solutions:

Manually remove the value from the alternate key from the subordinate record and add it to the master.

“Swap” master and subordinate and merge into the record that contains the correct key value.

    Thank you for the suggest.

I have seen that post but do not understand what to do exactly. And does this correct the root cause or do this need to be done on every lead merge with a problem?

I was able to Merge Lead after I manually deleted Lead Score from the second Lead.

This solution is not optimal by any means and I am still figuring out what triggered this behaviour.

I heard from end user that last time Lead Merge has worked fine was on the first half of December.

    Hi partner,

Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from my long vacation. For your specific trigger, I suggest you open a ticket with Microsoft Teams for assistance. Maybe they will give a deeper answer.
