jquery request call through web api

Hi, I am trying to get entity type, name, and record id through Web API, is there any sample jquery code to achieve this?

    Hi ,

    You can use CRM Rest Builder for same. That will give you generated code.

    @Gopanal,

    The link that you have provided contain sample code of OData 2.0. As per Microsoft documentation, it is deprecated. Kinldy use webapi to perform any CRUD operations in Dynamics CRM.

    Do you want to get entity type, name and record id of the record in the current form?

    Or

    You want to get records by query?

    There is an example available in SDK
