Does the Web Services component for Dynamics GP have a log file which shows activity?

Web Services for Dynamics GP will mainly write to the Web Services Exceptions Console and then to the Event Viewer logs, if it is truly a Web Services issue that is occurring.
There's no actual log files that get generated, though depending on the issue, there is tracing we can enable via the config files.

Thanks for the information Derek. Would any of the config settings be able to provide information when data is integrated with GP? I think the client is looking for some type of log that says "25 invoices imported on Sept 19"...... some type of report to track daily activity coming through web services.

Not really. A dexsql.log will only show the eConnect stored procs being called and the same is most likely true for a SQL Profiler, which will show a lot of 'encrypted text' for the eConnect stored procedures.
The logging we have is more when something fails, not so much when something runs through successfully.
As you mentioned, Activity Tracking is about as close as we have to something like that.
