Hi,
Up until May 1st we had been successfully been connecting via Qliks REST API connector using S2S authentication to obtained a token and pass this via the HTTP header into our GET requests but now no longer. The error reports to be internal sever error code 500.
We haven’t changed anything on our setup but I note our BC build appears to be v20 (unsure if we perhaps upgrades over the weekend or not, is there a way to tell?) but I see on the documention we used to set up S2S authentication that this only supports up to v18.3, is this the issue? The service we setup I noticed is no longer shown within the User page on BC where as it was previously.
if it’s now no longer supported this posed a major risk to our ability to extract and report our data, when will v20 be supported and if not the cause, is there any other recommendations I try to resolve?
thanks
Hi,
MSFT suggested us today to add the "Accept-Encoding": "identity". That worked for us!
Update, i've been able to resolve our connection issue by adding the following HTTP Header Params:
"Accept-Encoding" : "gzip, deflate"
Now able to successfully query the API via Qlik REST Connector - unsure if something similar will work for the Retrofit Library as not familiar with it.
I have the same error with two customers.
Regards
Hello,
The same thing is happening to us too, with the Retrofit library on Android, in the new version V20
We have 3 clients unable to use our APP because of this 500 error.
Regards
Hi,
We are experiencing the same issue since the upgrade to BC 20 (Internal Server Error on our API GET). We are using Java retrofit2 library, this library is still working with v19.5. We really don't know what changed since the last upgrade. There's no official docummentation on API changes from Microsoft!
With Regards,
Héctor
Same Issue with retrofit library.
With Android project use this library, any request with new version (V20) error 500.
It's very strange because in postam works fine.
Hi,
That's what we're still trying to figure out.
Support Ticket raised with Qlik but as yet no solution.
We perform a POST requests to obtain our token - this still works, and the token returned is perfectly valid as we can then use the token within Postman, Power Automate (HTTP Request step) and Qliks equivalent, Application Automation (Call URL step).
The REST connector however returns an 500 Internal Server Error as if the response is being blocked or not being sent.
It's a bit of coincidence though that, we think, we updated to v20 (May 1st).
Thanks
Hello,
In the admin portal of BC you can add a recipient that will receive notifications about upgrade schedules. It would be nice to know if there is a general failure or a change that did happen after the upgrade.
Thank you.
