Not prompt dialog box, when "Sent approval request’ was selected

Hi,

I would like to enquire on the following scenario and hope that someone can advise me.

So normally my user will have to select the ‘send approval request’ button when they generate a PO which is above $1000, and it will prompt them that the request has been sent to the approval.

 

But this time when he did this PO, it did not prompt a dialog box that a request was sent, and when I press ‘release’, the PO got released.

 May I know where can I check where the problem lies?

    Hello,

    If the user does not get the prompt for approval, it does mean that the action did not trigger the work flow.

    I understand where you are coming from.

    Maybe, I wasn't very clear.

    So normally my user will have to select the ‘send approval request’ button when they generate a PO which is above $1000, and it will prompt them that the request has been sent to the approval

    The prompt only didn't  show when the amount is $1000 plus, less than $2000.

    Otherwise, the prompt will pop out when it hit $1000.
