Why is the display method not showed in the SSRS report?

Hello,

I have an SSRS report, based on the standard SimpleQuery, which includes AssetBook table as the main data source. By extending the table, I added a display method to AssetBook. As a test, I placed it in a form and it works very well.
In the report it does not work. I connected this query to the datasets of my report, checked from the list to pass all methods (my method is of course visible in the list). I think I am doing everything what I should, but unfortunately the field on the report not showing. I think I have tried everything - full build, SQL Server Reporting Services restart, etc. and unfortunately I still have this problem.

I tried this, but I don't know if I used the view in the query correctly:

Has anyone had a similar problem before?

Thanks.

Have you tried deploying the report from Visual Studio? Did you check that the name of the display method is correct in the report field?

Yes, everything is OK. I put this field in the form and it works very well, but in the report unfortunately I can't show it.

    I found this thread also:

How do I include the AssetBook table view in my query? As a sub-datasource? Can someone explain to me how to do this?

I created a view, attaching the AssetBook table as a data source and provided all the fields from this table and wrote a display method.

    Hello,

Display method on Table extension NEVER shows on an Ssrs report.

Create a view, use the AssetBookTable as datasource

Write your display method on the AssetBookTableView

Use the view as your Query datasource and you will find the display method on the report.
